A WILDER LAND

 

Wilderlands was launched in 2020 to support nature at this critical time.
All around the world we are losing our wildlife, natural habitats, our wild eco systems and natural resources at an unprecedented rate.  We are passionate about nature and our wildlife and are dedicated to creating abundant biodiversity that we can all appreciate.  Learn more....

 

We have a fold of Highland cows, which will live their full natural lives here, helping nature thrive. We are also reintroducing beavers,  supporting the release, reintroduction and rescue of wildlife, as well as creating creating a mosaic of habitats for nature to thrive.

We also host away days, retreats, volunteer and nature connection days, supporting people from all walks of life connect with nature and live a meaningful life. Nature is our greatest resource and it is up to us to protect what we love. Whilst we would hope that government agencies have nature's best interests at heart, we cannot wait for the slow mechanisms of these systems to make the changes nature needs. Our intention is to contribute to grassroots movement for change, empowering us all to create a wilder land for all beings. We no longer have time to wait and see, the time for action is now!

 

Let's imagine what this land could become, together as custodians of this island. All of us can contribute - across farming estates, industrial estates, housing estates, schools, gardens, allotments, churchyards, and everywhere else - to make a pledge for a wilder nature.

 

Together, let's reclaim our wild heritage and become better connected in nature supportive communities that enrich all lives.  

 

Not always seeing nature as profit or something separate to be harvested, 

nature is our greatest resource. It's time to work together.
